Incorporated Radiation Protection Professional (IRadP)
Available to any Corporate Member (Fellow, Member, Associate) of the Society as well as IRPA Affiliate members.
- Application of extensive knowledge across a range of Radiation Protection areas with background knowledge in related areas
- Application of specialist Radiation Protection knowledge and understanding to deliver projects or services with analysis and solution of Radiation Protection challenges
- Responsiblity for technical tasks or supervision of others
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional values and continuing professional development
- A Certificate of Competence from a relevant Awarding Body or from a recognised professional scheme (eg RPA2000)
- An NVQ Level 4 in an appropriate Radiation Protection discipline or equivalent
- A portfolio of training plus a period of project work or evidence that may not wholly incorporate the breadth of the criteria for the certificates of competence or NVQ Level 4

Applicants are required to obtain the support of two people who have known them for at least one year and who can verify the information in the application and comment on your suitability to be granted IRadP. Both supporters should normally be Chartered or Incorporated Radiation Protection Professionals. They will each need to complete a Supporter Form.
