It’s all change at Lab Impex Systems
News Story from 3rd Jun 2015
It’s all change at Lab Impex Systems in Poole, Dorset as they was acquired by Ultra Electronics – Nuclear Control Systems (NCS) in June ‘14 and since then they have seen small changes coming through, like the shiny new exhibition stand they brought to Eastbourne. They have now completed a company relocation from their premises in Poole to the NCS Head Offices in Ferndown, Dorset and they will soon be looking at a new website – watch this space!
For many years, Lab Impex has been a designer, manufacturer and supplier of radiation measurement solutions and services for use within the nuclear industry, providing systems engineering, installation and support of full environmental radiation monitoring systems, including alpha, beta, gamma radiation and associated safety systems. The acquisition extends Ultra’s radiation monitoring product capabilities, strengthens the Group’s nuclear qualified engineering expertise and Ultra's position within the global nuclear sector.
Rakesh Sharma, Chief Executive of Ultra, commented: "I am pleased that we have been able to bring LIS into the Group as a part of our Nuclear Control Systems business. This acquisition extends Ultra’s capabilities in the nuclear sector and provides further momentum for our international growth".
